Book Giveaway - ARC of Bronxwood by Coe Booth

Let's celebrate diversity in YA with this week's giveaway. Up for grabs is an ARC of Bronxwood by Coe Booth, published by Push. It will land on shelves this month.

The story   - "Tyrell's got a lot going on. His father just got out of jail. His little brother is stuck in foster care. The dealers he's living with are taking bigger and bigger risks. And girls  -  they only seem to be adding to his problems."  Tyrell's got too much pressure and too many choices.

To enter fill out the rafflecopter from below.

  1. I would love to see more diversity - kids need to identify with the books they read. But, hopefully we are getting there!! This books looks so interesting. Thanks for the giveaway.

  2. There definitely isn't enough diversity in YA. Very pleased to see this type of book coming out. Thanks for the giveaway!

  3. It does seem like most YA features white girls, but I think there's more diversity coming into the market. I've read books featuring Native Americans, African Americans, Polynesians, Hispanics, Egyptians, etc., all this year. :)

  4. Diversity is a good thing. I'd like to see even more of it. Kids need to read about other cultures and ethnic people. Teaching through interesting fiction is the best way!
