Grit City Publications- Emottobooks

GCP is an independent publishing group of Emotobooks, the first fiction medium designed exclusively for tablets and smartphones. I was contacted by John Gavalik, a marketing director at GCP, to check out their site and if I liked it, post a blurb. From what I can tell, this site looks very interesting. A lot of readers out there only want a quick read, and this fills the bill. I have not personally purchased one of their readers, but if any of my readers have, I'd love to hear what you think.

Founded by Ron Gavalik in June, 2011, GCP is the culmination of a number of creative ventures over the past 15 years.

What are Emotobooks?  "We publish written fiction in fast installments that can be read during lunchtime or on the go. Inside each Emotobook are emotionally expressive illustrations that “show” the emotions of characters at tense points in the story."

What's their goal? "The long-term goal of the publishing group is to fill the catalog with an array of fun-to-consume popular (genre) fiction in the form of EmotoSerials and EmotoSingles. GCP seeks to reach those who wouldn’t normally read traditional fiction. Emotobooks span the gap between gamers, comic fans, television/movie enthusiasts, and average readers."

Sound interesting? Check them out today-
